Brickell has always been the banking and financial center of Miami, but in recent years, it has seen a huge resurgence and has now become the most desirable urban living oasis in Miami.   The main thoroughfare, Brickell Avenue, is lined with trees and among its commercial offices are gleaming condos and hotels, such as the Four Seasons and Conrad.  This is Miami’s financial district with most of the major banks of both North and South America represented, as well as, some of the biggest law firms.  Just south, more established condos line the shores of Biscayne Bay.  This has always been an upscale Miami neighborhood, but building on the success of Mary Brickell Village, the area has expanded and boomed with new development in recent years. Brickell City Centre is the new centerpiece to this area, with a large modern shopping mall and two residential towers. There are other terrific living options in buildings with stellar amenities, like Brickell Heights, Brickell Flatiron, Bond, Echo Brickell, SLS Lux, among others.  While not long ago one thought of Miami as a touristy beach town, this area’s new inland residential developments are redefining luxury living on the mainland.
