La Gorce is a private, gated island at the north end of Miami Beach. Celebrities such as Cher, Dwayne Wade and Shakira have all called La Gorce home. The island is encircled by large waterfront estates, some with magnificent views. Homes in the interior have a Palm Springs feel with its wide streets and Royal Palms. Architecture varies from the restored historic, to mid-century, to the ultra modern white houses.
